In the dangerous times we live in women are commonly finding themselves the victims of random violent crimes.  Unfortunately most predators are targeting women because they believe they will put up less than a fight.  But it is time to break that cycle and throw the criminals a curve ball.  Let’s learn about some women self defense.

 Most of the time, women are thought of as less adept then men .  They are also considered not as strong as men. Due to this thought process , women from all walks of life  are falling victim to violent crimes . They are the victims of horrible crimes like rape .  What if women are prepared for such attacks?  I think women stand a better chance if they are better prepared.  In this article,  I will tell you about self defense for women.

 Avoiding risky and dangerous situation from day to day is not difficult.  There are a few pointers that you have to know if you are out and about .

The high priority initial thing to keep in mind   is that prevention is better than cure. Be sure to make a point  to be proactive and try and prevent it from happening in the first place .  When you are out be among other people, try in be in the area with the most people . This is good to do if you are waiting for a bus or going to the store .

 Secondly, do not take things for granted. If you are in an area with a lot of people  that doesn’t ensure you won’t be a victim .  Be alert. You always want to keep your mind on the individuals near you . Most criminals with intentions act a little odd   therefore avoid people who behave suspiciously.

 If someone attacks you,  try to stay as calm as possible. Do not panic.  Make a decision whether to run or comply.  If it is possible to run, do it. If you have a lot of people around you  move as far away from the attacker and try to get attention of the people surrounding you.  If he tries to grab you, use your personal self defense product .   You do have a self defense weapon don’t you? It is a good idea to go out and find a good self defense product.  It can be a stun gun or pepper spray it’s up to you.  There are even cool bottles of pepper look like other stuff, like lipstick pepper spray

 If you do not have any you can use your purse or punch or kick .  It would be better if you could just swing your handbag or even an umbrella  at his face. If you can’t hit the fact a swift kick to the balls works very well . The good news is most women go for the testacies instinctively for some reason (yes it’s true) . Your goal is to cause as much damage as you can so you can escape .

  You have to be mentally prepared when facing such situations. A very good idea would be taking self defense classes   as they can better prepare you for such situations. When in a self defense situation being calm and confident can be the difference between panic and death. 

 If you need to defense yourself you want to make sure you have the tools and knowledge to keep you safe.  If you react in a panic it will not end up good.  But if you are fully prepared for any situation thank you stand a much better chance.  When a criminal comes after you thinking it will be an easy deal you need to give him whats coming.  And the best part is they will not be expecting it. 

It’s time to fight back and not be a victim, it’s time to take your own safety into your own hands. 

The right to defend oneself and ones’ property  is a God given right and one of the most basic rights of a free society along with our ability to own firearms . Protecting your life is an instilled natural instinct .

 Today we look to the police and the laws   to help protect us. But with the amount of crime and shrinking police departments  resources  are spread thinner each day.  Individuals must assume more responsibility for their own family and personal protection .

How can you work less than lethal self defense products  fit into your self defense strategy?

 Self defense products  are an integral part of the strategy. All items like pepper spray and stun guns   have their place for sure.  You also need to know how to use them and  practice using them so if you are faced with a self defense situation you use them naturally .

 Another key ingredient is  learning some basic self defense techniques.  This can help you  build your confidence. A great way to do that is by getting self defense tapes that  allow  you to learn without leaving the safety of your house .

 I firmly believe that self defense is something that would be beneficial to teach to young school children . By giving them a jump start  the self defense techniques will become second nature .   Just like riding a bike!

One you get the fundamentals down packed  find a buddy and practice what you learned on them . Maybe you could teach them something   If and when the time comes to defend yourself[spin] [spin]it is very important to have the techniques be second nature so you don’t freeze up .

The moral is that we cannot be 100% safe at all times.  The police are stretched thin and that puts us at even more of a risk.  So wee need to take the steps to keep ourselves safe.  Granted it is impossible to be 100% say but we can tip the scale in our favor.

 Many of us over look it until it is too late.  Trust me that is something that you never want to do.  Many of us think we are immune to it because we don’t live in a big city.  But that is not the case at all.  Like I said everywhere to there is some sort of risk.  Obviously some areas are worse than other but the point is we are all at risk. 

 We need to take steps to minimize that risk.  You can carry mace pepper spray or use a stun gun.  Those are great option.  You should find a self defense product that works for you and use it.
